Our mission is to love GOD with all our heart and love others as we love ourselves.
Our primary goal is to reconnect the family roots of our ancestors for our children, their children, and generations to come. We will accomplish this through love, sharing of oral history, and passing down traditions that maintain family ties.
Your descendants will be as the dust of the Earth; they will stretch from west to east and from north to south. All the families of the Earth will bless themselves in you and your descendants.
Tracing Our Family's Journey
I remember discussing the “need to know” where we
came from with my brother, Qayim Abdul Raheem, aka
(Rueben Otis Hill). We wanted to discover their pathway
to the present. He began the quest to locate our
Ancestors. We were both interested but he had the time
and inclination. He collected many documents and made
multiple phone calls. He worked with our cousin Donna
Blackwell, who is the daughter of Willie and Alice May
(Hill) Blackwell of Cincinatti, Ohio. She is the sister of our
be Father (Robert A Hill Sr.). Together, they produced
many documents which led to many directions and a
personal trip to uncover promising information. After
Qayim passed, I picked up the task thru Ancestry.com and
was able to build upon his and Donna’s efforts. Ancestry’s
document database has been very useful in confirming
our family connections and locations in America but fell
short in accurately pinning the modern day country or
tribe our family was taken.
